This new release features language enhancements, improved and updated controls, a newly-updated report builder and new reporting from inside Web Services, along with other enhancements that improve productivity.
New language enhancements are being released with Team Developer 6.3. Team Developer’s native language, SAL, is updated with high code reusability and powerful new object-oriented programming (OOP) features. Constructors and destructors further improve the powerful OOP features of Team Developer. Constructors can be built in multiples, each having its own set of parameters. Destructors are automatically called when an object is destroyed.
In order to continue offering the latest controls, Team Developer has added a new ribbon bar gallery control to create stunning high usability applications for users, all ribbon elements can be created at runtime. Team Developer 6.3 comes with a new Office 2013 style theme for the IDE and applications. Along with the Ribbon Gallery Control, Team Developer 6.3 offers Grid Group Totals, Native Menus, Date and Date-time picker enhancements, and many other features and enhancements.
Finally, Team Developer 6.3 brings many enhancements to reporting. The new Report Designer was designed and built to offer server-based report generation. Users are now able to generate HTML and PDF reports from Web Services using Team Developer. Report Builder reports can now prompt the end-user to provide query conditions for easier data interaction and flexible reporting.
