Bret Bolin Joins Technology Crossover Ventures as a Venture Partner

Former Misys Executive Chairman and CEO Will Play Strategic Role on Growing Team of World-Class Technology Investment Professionals in TCV’s London Office

PALO ALTO, Calif. & LONDON--()--Technology Crossover Ventures (TCV), a leading provider of growth equity for premier technology companies, announced today that Bret Bolin has joined TCV as a venture partner in the firm’s London office. Previously Bolin was executive chairman and CEO of Misys, a leading provider of financial services software and solutions, which has more than 2,000 customers across 130 countries, including 47 of the world’s 50 largest banks.

Bolin brings more than 20 years in global software and technology-enabled services at businesses ranging from $35 million to $1 billion in revenue. At TCV, he will focus on key investments in enterprise software and technology-enabled solutions, leveraging his experience in the financial services, industrial, manufacturing and energy sectors.
