Four More Venture Capital Pros + Eventbrite CEO Kevin Hartz Join 36|86 Lineup

Revolution Ventures, Correlation Ventures, Kate O’Neill, Mark Montgomery and more added to June celebration of southern culture and entrepreneurship

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--()--Launch Tennessee (LaunchTN) announces nine new speakers for 36|86, LaunchTN’s flagship event highlighting the best in southern culture, entrepreneurship and investment.

Eventbrite Co-founders Kevin Hartz (CEO) and Julia Hartz (President) will host a fireside chat on Building a Billion Dollar Business. Founded in 2006, Eventbrite has processed over $3 billion in gross ticket sales in 180 countries. Hartz has served as an early-stage investor and advisor to successful startups including PayPal, Pinterest, Lookout, Airbnb, Trulia and Yammer. Julia started her career as a development executive at MTV and FX Networks. She has been honored as one of Inc.'s 35 Under 35 in 2014 and Fortune's Most Powerful Women Entrepreneurs.

Other speakers include:

Peter Barth, founder and CEO of The Iron Yard, operates the largest intensive code school in the country, 2 of the top vertical startup accelerators, and free youth programming classes in 14 cities.

David Hall, director at Revolution Ventures, is responsible for investment sourcing, execution and oversight for Revolution Ventures’ portfolio companies.

Trevor Kienzle, founder and managing director of Correlation Ventures, leads the firm and its IT, Consumer, and Business Services practices.

Chris Langford, director of strategic development for Lowe’s, responsible for the sourcing, analysis and execution of investments from mergers and acquisitions to early stage companies.

Frank Manzella, senior VP of corporate development for Emdeon, responsible for acquisition extending a portfolio of revenue and payment cycle products.

Joe Maxwell, responsible for Ipreo’s Alternative Assets offering for the PE and VC communities. Maxwell joined Ipreo through the acquisition of Shareholder InSite in 2014, where he was Chairman and CEO.

Mark Montgomery, Nashville's most well-known music and tech entrepreneur, launched one of the first five U.S. companies selling music on the web in 1992. In 1999, Mark co-founded echomusic, managing the digital businesses of some of the world’s biggest entertainers.

Kate O’Neill, founder and CEO of KO Insights, is a speaker, writer and startup advisor focused on the intersection of data, humanity and meaningful experiences.
