Sunoco Logistics Partners L.P. Announces Public Offering of Common Units

PHILADELPHIA--()--Sunoco Logistics Partners L.P. (NYSE: SXL), announced that it has commenced a public offering of 13,500,000 common units pursuant to an effective shelf registration statement on Form S-3 previously filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The underwriters will be granted an option to purchase up to 2,025,000 additional common units. The Partnership intends to use the net proceeds from this offering to repay outstanding borrowings under its $1.5 billion revolving credit facility and for general partnership purposes.
