SFX Entertainment Announces T-Mobile as Beatport Charter Partner; Relationship Expands to Encompass Even More Live Events

The Un-carrier and Beatport will bring music streaming and live festival broadcasts to all fans, plus unique benefits for T-Mobile customers at 30 SFX festivals and events

NEW YORK--()--SFX Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ:SFXE) today announced T-Mobile US, Inc. (NYSE:TMUS) as a Charter Partner for its Beatport music streaming service. This is an expansion of T-Mobile’s innovative relationship with SFX and will provide fans with music streaming through the Beatport service this festival season - all without burning their 4G LTE data. T-Mobile will also be integrated prominently throughout the new Beatport with its own profile page and playlist highlighting exclusive benefits for their customers including music downloads at no additional cost and access to event tickets.

This expanded relationship builds upon a program announced in June 2014, when T-Mobile became the exclusive mobile partner to SFX in the USA and was a leading sponsor of three of SFX’s most iconic festivals: TomorrowWorld in Chattahoochee Hills (Atlanta), GA; Electric Zoo in New York City; and Mysteryland in Bethel Woods, NY, held on the grounds of the original Woodstock festival. As part of the newly expanded sponsorship, T-Mobile customers will also receive exclusive and unique benefits at 30 SFX festivals and events in the US this year.

T-Mobile will sponsor five festivals produced by Disco Donnie Presents this summer; the React Presents festivals Spring Awakening in Chicago and Summer Set in Somerset, WI; Life In Color’s tour, scheduled for more than two-dozen U.S. cities; and live festival video coverage from a number of SFX events in 2015.

“Our focus at SFX is to deliver the best in music, festivals and events to fans wherever and whenever they want it and T-Mobile is the perfect partner for that,” said Tim Crowhurst, President and Head of Strategic Development at SFX Entertainment. “This expanded program will let us share incredible new music and experiences with all fans of electronic music, without impacting data limits, consistent with the values of America’s Un-carrier.

“At T-Mobile we believe music should be without limits and our customers can stream all the music they want and never have to worry about excess data charges. By working with SFX, we’re taking that passion for music to the next level and giving our customers more access than ever to the music they love,” said Mike Belcher, Vice President of Sponsorships and Events at T-Mobile.
