Menlo Park Presbyterian Church Opens New San Jose Campus March 1

San Jose Marks Menlo’s fourth Bay Area campus; first of five new campuses planned

SAN JOSE, Calif.--()--Almost 200 volunteers are getting ready to open a new church in San Jose on Sunday, March 1, 9:30 and 11 am, on the grounds of Branham High School. The Sunday experience will feature teaching by Senior Pastor and author John Ortberg, live worship music, and programs for children, students, and adults.

“This is a place where everyone is welcome, nobody is perfect, and anything is possible,” said Menlo’s San Jose Campus Pastor Josh Hall. “Our lives are so full and busy, and yet we all also seek meaningful lives, authentic relationships, and the chance to make our world a better place. We believe that we can find this by living in the way of Jesus, and we invite everyone to come check us out on any Sunday morning.”

The campus launches on March 1 with a message series called “Unstuck,” which walks through how God invites us to find freedom and strength, whether our stuckness is an addiction, habit, relationship, or circumstance.

The Branham San Jose campus offers a large auditorium for worship services, along with classrooms for babies, kids and teens. It’s well located just off Highway 85, near 101 and 280, with parking on campus.

Menlo has campuses in Menlo Park, where it began 140 years ago, as well as in San Mateo and Mountain View. More than 5,000 people attend the church each weekend across its campuses. The church would like to open four more campuses in the Bay Area in the coming years as part of its desire to be a place for day-to-day community and local outreach. Menlo’s mission is to lead its generation into a transforming relationship with Jesus and authentic community with each other so that everyone in the Bay Area can flourish.

The church offers a thoughtful approach to faith, a place where people can build community, and seeks to understand and serve the communities it touches.
