Former Domain Expert for Supply Chain Center of Excellence to Compliment IDC Manufacturing Insights Team

FRAMINGHAM, Mass.--()--With more than a decade of experience, including advising leading oil, medical device, and automobile companies on critical supply chain processes, John Santagate joins IDC Manufacturing Insights as Research Manager. In this new role, Santagate will focus on Supply Chain Execution. A detail oriented supply chain expert, Santagate spent the last several years as a domain consultant for Tata Consultancy Services in the Supply Chain Management Center of Excellence, where he helped to deliver innovative, transformational and sustainable supply chain solutions for clients across top vertical markets. A certified Six Sigma professional, Santagate's expertise will strengthen IDC Manufacturing Insights' coverage of the top trends and technologies impacting the supply chain today.

As a supply chain domain expert, Santagate has advised top clients on critical supply chain processes and technologies and lead various project teams on key initiatives including: End-to-End Supply Chain Planning Assessment and Future State Design; Supply and Production Planning Process Assessment and Design; End-to-End S&OP Process Assessment and Design; and Demand Planning and Statistical Forecasting Process Improvement. His planned research will explore topics including Supply Chain Efficiencies to complement IDC Manufacturing Insights' current coverage of the supply chain industry.
