PALO ALTO, Calif.--()--Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Superfish, the leader in visual search, today introduced LikeThat Garden, the first app that enables people to instantly identify flowers and plants with their mobile devices.

“With Valentine’s Day approaching, LikeThat Garden will come in handy for anyone who is curious about the flowers in their bouquets,” said Adi Pinhas, CEO and founder of Superfish. “We continue to introduce apps that demonstrate the incredible power of visual search to transform our world by changing the way we learn and explore.”

With LikeThat Garden, people can identify flowers and plants they see anywhere that they may want to place in their own homes or gardens. And by identifying flowers with the app, people can quickly learn how to care for their flowers, and they can understand which flowers might go well together as they prepare to start new gardens.

LikeThat Garden is a free app and is available at the Apple App Store. The app will be available for Android devices soon. LikeThat Garden is the third app in the LikeThat product suite from Superfish, following LikeThat Pets and LikeThat Décor.

“People are visual,” said Pinhas. “We naturally take in much of our knowledge with our eyes. Visual search allows people to learn easily and intuitively without the artificial hurdle of having to describe everything to a search engine.”

The success of Superfish’s visual search apps placed the company on Forbes’ 2015 list of America’s Most Promising Companies, and led to a #4 ranking on the latest Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in the U.S.
