Adventist HealthCare Selects CareTech Solutions as IT Partner

Full outsourcing services to be provided with General Dynamics Information Technology

TROY, Mich.--()--CareTech Solutions has signed an eight-year agreement to provide IT outsourcing services, with General Dynamics Information Technology, to Adventist HealthCare in Gaithersburg, Md. Adventist is an integrated, health-care delivery network that includes five nationally accredited, acute-care and specialty hospitals, mental health services and home health agencies, serving the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and northwestern New Jersey. CareTech is an information technology (IT) and Web products and services provider for U.S. hospitals.

The services CareTech Solutions and General Dynamics will provide to the health system include: infrastructure support, data center hosting, database and IT security services, clinical Service Desk, disaster recovery and interface engine support, desktop and field engineering, data network and telecom, and partnering to provide long-term IT planning.
