Adobe Launches Government Cloud Solutions at Digital Government Assembly

New Cloud Capabilities for Government will Transform Citizen Engagement, Streamline Work for Public Sector Employees

WASHINGTON--()--Adobe (Nasdaq:ADBE) announced today the launch of Adobe cloud solutions for Government, enabling public sector organizations to revolutionize citizen experiences through the creation and delivery of dynamic content and websites. The launch was announced at the Adobe Digital Government Assembly, the annual gathering of public sector technology leaders, innovators and communicators focused on the latest in government technology.

Supporting the launch of its cloud solutions for Government, Adobe is also offering tools and resources to help customers better understand the benefits of adopting new cloud solutions.

Adobe Digital Government solutions are being used by government agencies to transform citizen interaction. The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) uses Adobe Experience Manager to more effectively deliver content to visitors, giving them real-time updates on road conditions and construction projects. By restructuring their web content with Adobe, NMDOT reduced their web pages by more than 800 pages.

“We already knew and trusted Adobe tools, and we found that the Adobe Experience Manager was right for our department,” said Bruce Oakeley, Information Systems Manager, NMDOT. “We’re excited that Adobe is moving more and more of these technologies to the cloud as it will help public sector organizations like ours streamline costs even further.”

“Creating dynamic content is not just the domain of the private sector,” said John Landwehr, Adobe’s public sector chief technology officer. “Citizens and public sector employees expect the government to deliver the same services they use in their daily lives across their smartphone, tablets and PCs. By making our industry-leading digital technologies available to government customers in the cloud, we’re helping them improve citizen engagement while streamlining operations and saving money.”

Adobe is currently in the process of FedRAMP Agency Authorization. Upon final completion of this security assessment, Adobe's government cloud solutions will be more easily adopted within the public sector.
