Kimco Realty Closes $650 Million Unsecured Term Loan

NEW HYDE PARK, N.Y.--()--Kimco Realty Corporation (NYSE: KIM) announced that it closed on a new $650 million unsecured term loan. The loan is scheduled to mature on January 30, 2017, with three additional one-year options to extend the maturity date at Kimco’s discretion to January 30, 2020. Interest on the loan accrues at an annualized rate that is currently LIBOR plus 95 basis points. A portion of the proceeds from the unsecured loan were used to repay Kimco’s outstanding obligations under the company’s $400 million Credit Agreement, dated April 17, 2012. Kimco intends to use the remainder of the proceeds for general corporate purposes.

PNC Capital Markets LLC and Regions Capital Markets were the joint lead arrangers and bookrunners, Regions Bank, Wells Fargo Bank, National Association and JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A., were syndication agents, PNC Bank, National Association, is the administrative agent for the new term loan, and The Bank of New York Mellon and U.S. Bank National Association were documentation agents.
