NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Falcon Social, a leading enterprise social media management platform, today announced it has closed out 2014 with 443 percent revenue growth. The company has entered 2015 with an impressive global customer portfolio, including Jaguar, Carlsberg, Mentos, Pandora, Chupa Chups, Orangina Schweppes, IWC Watches, SIGG, Redken, Warner Music and Coca Cola.
Falcon Social offers a unified social media management platform to help enterprises listen, engage, publish, measure and manage social media content. To date, the company has raised $9M from strategic investors Northcap Partners and Target Partners, and has offices in Copenhagen and New York City. To keep up with this exponential growth, Falcon Social has expanded its global workforce by 63 percent in the past twelve months, including adding key hire Andrew Dahl, previously of Zendesk, as Head of Product.
Falcon Social is poised to keep pace with this high-growth trajectory in 2015 as social media takes center stage in the marketing mix. A Salesforce survey of more than 5,000 marketers reveals that 70 percent plan to boost spending on social media marketing in 2015. Additionally, Forrester Research predicts spending on social media marketing will hit $9.7 billion this year in the U.S. and soar to $17.3 billion in 2019, an increase of nearly 80 percent.
“We believe that social media will be crucial in 2015 and beyond for brands to grow their existing customer bases. Falcon Social is uniquely positioned to deliver the most dynamic, easy to use social communication platform on the market today,” says Ulrik Bo Larsen, CEO of Falcon Social, named “Young Entrepreneur of the Year” in Denmark.
In addition to employee, customer, and revenue growth, 2014 also included the launch of two exciting new products. Connect, a new technology that allows businesses to offer social login access to their websites via Facebook, was rolled out in July. This was followed-up with the launch of Inspire, an employee advocacy mobile app designed to funnel branded published marketing content to companies’ preferred social media channels.
“With Falcon Social, we have one point of entry for all markets to moderate, listen, plan and schedule distribution to social media platforms,” says Martin Majlund, Group Marketing Technologist at Carlsberg Group. “All the big brewers are fighting for social media now, and we want to win that battle.”
