Constellation West Promotes Kim Williams to Vice President of Operations for the Capital Region

WASHINGTON--()--Constellation West, a leading provider of mission-critical technology solutions for the U.S. government and one of the fastest-growing service-disabled veteran-owned, women-owned, small disadvantaged businesses in the country, announced today it has promoted Kim Williams to vice president for the capital region.

“Kim has brought us a wealth of experience in the federal contracting industry, as well as recruiting expertise in the capital region, and this is a natural and much-deserved next step,” said Lisa Wolford, president and CEO of Constellation West. “She has been an esteemed asset to our team for the past two years, and with her over 20 years of seasoned technical recruiting experience, we look forward to her continuing to be a critical resource for Constellation West.”

In Williams’s new role, all human resources functions will fall under her management and supervision. In coordination with Constellation West’s commitment to retaining excellent talent, she will assist personnel with career planning by ensuring that when opportunities present themselves, Constellation West staff will have the ability to either be promoted on their current contract or have the opportunity to move forward with another. Williams will also interface with customers and provide corporate continuity and general support.

Before joining Constellation West, Williams worked in human resources and technical recruiting for Avaya Government Solutions, ManTech, General Dynamics and SENTEL Corporation. In 2012, Kim became an independent recruiting consultant, and she joined forces with Constellation West in September of that year. Williams graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Science in psychology.
