According to the complaint, the defendants are alleged to have violated certain provisions of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. Specifically, the complaint alleges, among other things, that Sarepta failed to provide sufficient data for its New Drug Application submission for marketing approval of eteplirsen, and that the Application would likely be filed in mid-2015, rather than in 2014. Sarepta stock dropped significantly immediately following this announcement.
