Designed to bring games and media to the living room, the Play Cube Steam Box is a powerful-yet-compact PC gaming system, while the Play Cube GEM Box features streaming games and multimedia entertainment at an affordable price. EMTEC will be demonstrating these items and many more at the 2015 CES show floor, South Hall #4, Booth 35632.

The Play Cube Steam Box is an ultracompact PC, powerful enough to run modern graphically intensive games, yet small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. Powered by Gigabyte’s award-winning motherboards and graphics cards, the Play Cube Steam Box includes 4K ultra-high resolution output, surround sound audio and class-leading energy efficiency. With near-silent operation, clean lines and sleek casing (4 x 2 x 5 inches; 59 mm x 15 mm x 128 mm), it tucks discreetly into an entertainment center, bringing PC gaming to the big screen in the living room. Windows 8.1 comes pre-installed on the system to ensure maximum compatibility with the full library of Steam games as well as other Windows apps and programs. The Play Cube Steam Box will debut Fall 2015 with a projected price of $899.
The Play Cube GEM Box combines Gaming, Entertainment and Multimedia capabilities into a convenient and intuitive device. High-end PC games are hosted completely in the cloud via Playcast and streamed to your living room, offering everything from casual family-friendly games to hardcore AAA titles. The tiny footprint (3.3 x 3.3 x 0.9 inches; 83 x 83 x 24 mm) allows it to reside almost anywhere. The system includes Google Play Marketplace preinstalled, while other digital storefronts can be installed for unrestricted access to Android apps, Netflix and other entertainment services, as well as social media and web connectivity. The Play Cube GEM Box even includes a Bluetooth game controller to get people playing right away. The Play Cube GEM Box will debut Summer 2015 for around $99.
