Panasonic to Highlight Retail Technology Solutions as Part of 2015 International CES Experience

2015 International CES
NRF Big Show 2015

LAS VEGAS--()--Panasonic, a leading provider of retail technology solutions, announced it will highlight a broad selection of its retail technologies at the 2015 International CES in Las Vegas. Within the Panasonic CES booth (Central Hall #9808), the company has created a zone where the public can experience its technologies in various retail environments.

The Retail Zone will offer CES attendees insight into Panasonic’s offerings for Supermarkets, Table Service Restaurants, Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) and many other environments. Technologies on display will include digital signage, projection solutions, security cameras, customer kiosks, next-generation shelving solutions, video analytics, noise cancelling audio solutions and more.

“Although brick and mortar shopping is still the dominant format, e-commerce growth is outpacing in-store growth by nearly five to one1,” said Rick Albert, Vice President, Panasonic System Communications Company of North America (PSCNA). “As a result, retailers need to look for new technologies that create an omni-channel experience as well as address efficiency improvements. As a global leader in R&D and with 30 years of experience in the retail market, Panasonic is well positioned to deliver solutions that improve the customer experience and drive profitability.”

A special “Future of Signage” section, located next to the Retail Zone, will showcase digital signage applications that can also be used in retail environments, including 4K signage solutions, transparent display screen technology, aquatic projection solutions and 8K displays.
