SANTA ROSA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Autonet Mobile, Inc. will showcase the first end-to-end OTA solution that allows Vehicle Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to adopt a phased approach towards OTA service deployment at the Consumer Telematics Show (CTS) and Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2015 in Las Vegas.
OEMs, tier 1 suppliers, and consumers now have a complete, production-ready solution for remote update, management, and maintenance of connected vehicles. By using Autonet Mobile’s TRU technology, OEMs can start deploying OTA services today without having to wait for next generation ECU (Electronic Control Unit). Current generation ECUs communicate over a very slow bus and lack the capability of performing OTA updates on their own. Autonet Mobile’s TRU Technology integrated into the in-vehicle gateway or TCU allows the TCU to manage updates for ECUs. Using Autonet Mobile’s TRU Manager back-office system, OEMs can create rules and policies for how these updates should be performed to ensure the utmost safety and security for consumers.
Autonet Mobile has partnered with Arynga, Inc. and Visteon Corp. for this demonstration of integrating the TRU technology with 3rd party solutions. By using Arynga’s backend management application and Visteon’s LightscapeTM H1.1 mid-range Instrument Cluster (IC), Autonet Mobile will demonstrate remotely updating a deployed ECU while providing a good end user experience through Autonet Mobile’s connected vehicle platform.
The integrated OTA solution will be demonstrated at multiple venues during the week of the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) Jan 5-9. Autonet Mobile will present a live OTA demonstration as well as connected vehicle services and applications in the Autonet Mobile booth at the Consumer Telematics Show (CTS) at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, 8:00am-6:00pm on Jan 5. And by invitation, Autonet Mobile will demonstrate OTA at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas, on Jan 6-8. Moreover, Autonet Mobile will be present at the Arynga booth for a live OTA demo during the GENIVI Alliance CES Showcase at the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas, 6:00-8:30PM on Jan 6-7.
