Airshow organizers announced today that the United States Air Force Thunderbirds Jet Demonstration Team and the Royal Canadian Air Force Jet Demonstration Team, known as the Snowbirds, will return to the skies of Sacramento as the headlining acts of the 2015 California Capital Airshow (CCA), presented by Sacramento County. Celebrating its 10-year anniversary the Thunderbirds and the Snowbirds, along with an exciting array of jets, world-renowned aerobatic performers, and historic aircraft, will thrill and inspire fans of all ages on October 3-4, 2015 at Mather Airport.

The USAF Thunderbirds are internationally known for their hard-charging demonstration of precision formation flying while pushing their F-16 Fighting Falcons to the limits. Known as “America’s Ambassadors in Blue,” the Thunderbirds travel throughout the world performing for millions of spectators. Their distinctive red, white and blue Lockheed Martin F-16 jets, along with their precise routines, make the Thunderbirds a must see. These representatives of the most advanced and respected air, space and cyberspace force will be on the ramp to sign autographs throughout each day of the Airshow weekend.

The Snowbirds, flying a nine-ship jet demonstration, will leave you cheering for more!
