Two Military Jet Demonstration Teams to Headline California Capital Airshow Tenth Anniversary

USAF Thunderbirds and RCAF Snowbirds Jet Demonstration Teams to Headline, Show Dates and Discount Ticket Sales Announced

SACRAMENTO, Calif.--()--It’s been 10 years and it is time to celebrate! Airshow organizers announced today that the United States Air Force Thunderbirds Jet Demonstration Team and the Royal Canadian Air Force Jet Demonstration Team, known as the Snowbirds, will return to the skies of Sacramento as the headlining acts of the 2015 California Capital Airshow (CCA), presented by Sacramento County. Celebrating its 10-year anniversary the Thunderbirds and the Snowbirds, along with an exciting array of jets, world-renowned aerobatic performers, and historic aircraft, will thrill and inspire fans of all ages on October 3-4, 2015 at Mather Airport.

Purchase before 11:59 p.m. (PT) on December 31st and buy General Admission and Shaded Seating tickets at dramatically discounted prices.

The USAF Thunderbirds are internationally known for their hard-charging demonstration of precision formation flying while pushing their F-16 Fighting Falcons to the limits. Known as “America’s Ambassadors in Blue,” the Thunderbirds travel throughout the world performing for millions of spectators. Their distinctive red, white and blue Lockheed Martin F-16 jets, along with their precise routines, make the Thunderbirds a must see. These representatives of the most advanced and respected air, space and cyberspace force will be on the ramp to sign autographs throughout each day of the Airshow weekend.

All the way from Moosejaw, you won’t want to miss the thrilling and graceful Royal Canadian Air Force Jet Demonstration Team. The Snowbirds, flying a nine-ship jet demonstration, will leave you cheering for more! The skill, professionalism and teamwork of the Royal Canadian Air Force and the Canadian Forces are awe-inspiring and Sacramento is proud to welcome the team back.

On the ground, spectators will be able to explore aircraft displays, speak with pilots and crew, and experience interactive attractions designed to promote science, technology, engineering and math.
