WELLESLEY, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Caring Company, a charitable initiative sponsored by Renaissance Alliance Insurance Services (RAIS), announces recognition of two organizations for outstanding commitment to their customers and communities: Liberty Mutual Insurance and Safeco Insurance.
Of the recognition, Renaissance Alliance President Bruce Cochrane says, “A Caring Company is not simply one that offers financial support to a charitable cause; rather, it’s a group of individuals with a common cause who selflessly commit corporate time and personal efforts to improve the world around them.” The current designees are:
Safeco Insurance for its Agent Giving Program, which recognizes select agencies for community volunteering through a Make More Happen Award. The award includes a donation to the nonprofit organizations they support. Atlantic Advisers Insurance Agency Inc., Norwell, Mass., a Renaissance Alliance member, was a recipient of a Make More Happen Award in 2013 for their volunteer support of South Shore Natural Science Center, Norwell, Mass.
Liberty Mutual for its community service program, Serve with Liberty. Total involvement in MA, CT, RI, and NH during Serve with Liberty 2014 encompassed 5,900 employees across 470 projects working with over 200 nonprofits.
Cochrane says, “We are very proud of our affiliation with superlative insurance organizations that make it a priority to give back to local communities. Liberty Mutual and Safeco are excellent embodiments of this principle.” Both companies’ initiatives will be profiled on the Caring Company website and promoted through social media.
