Four Kitchens Wins Big: Emmy, Stevie, Best in Biz and Davey Awards

Web Design Firm Wins Six Impressive Awards for Their Achievements and Innovation

AUSTIN, Texas--()--Four Kitchens, a Web design and development consultancy firm that builds big websites with open-source software, announces prominent company achievement by receiving multiple regional and national awards over the past six months. These awards include an Emmy, Austin Business Journal’s Best Places to Work in Central Texas, Stevie Awards, Davey Awards, Best in Biz Awards and the Web Marketing Association’s WebAward.

“We feel extremely honored to be recognized by so many distinguished organizations,” said Todd Ross Nienkerk, managing partner, Four Kitchens. “These highly acclaimed awards and acknowledgements are an amazing testament to the in-depth expertise, dedication and accomplishments of our team.”

Four Kitchens’ Emmy in the ‘outstanding interactive program’ category was awarded for the website and app they created for The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. The firm was part of the all-star team of designers and developers, along with Crispin Porter + Bogusky and Lullabot that worked in tandem with The Tonight Show editorial staff to develop the site’s multilayered needs on an extremely tight deadline.

Four Kitchens was one of the acknowledged companies to win the prestigious ‘Best Places to Work in Central Texas’ recognition from the Austin Business Journal. Judges reviewed the entries for the extremely competitive competition based on the company’s climate, team atmosphere, benefits and employee engagement.

Four Kitchens won a silver Best in Biz award in the ‘company of the year’ category. Recognized for their notable growth over the last year, Four Kitchens secured two of their largest clients to date in 2014 – Time Inc. and World Pulse.

The Stevie, Davey and WebAward all recognized Four Kitchens for their work on behalf of their client, Full Plate Living. The Oklahoma-based nonprofit provides education to address health issues with food and transform their global audience’s weight loss goals. For the creation of Full Plate Living’s website, Four Kitchens won silver in the Stevie Awards, silver in the Davey Awards and ‘outstanding website recognition’ in the WebAwards.

“Four Kitchens not only built a user-friendly, impactful website for us, but the team baked a little of their soul, personal creativity and passion into the project as well,” said Dan Braun, general manager, Full Plate Living. “The Web team taught us how to manage updates and make site improvements that greatly help us stretch our nonprofit budget.”

Additionally, research firm Clutch announced their updated research on leading Drupal developers in late November, and Four Kitchens retained their premier position in the Drupal Developers Leaders Matrix. The independent research firm’s proprietary framework maps companies’ focus areas and their ability to deliver on client expectations. Four Kitchens is one of only eight firms that kept their position on the top Drupal developers list.
