Lowfoot Inc. Signs Five Contracts in Q3

TORONTO--()--Lowfoot Inc., a global company focused on transforming complex data into smart energy decisions, has announced its 3rd quarter sales results. In the July to September period, Lowfoot signed five contracts, of which four are retail energy providers and one is an electric and water utility. Lowfoot crunches meter, cost and weather data to provide easy to understand, actionable, manageable information to both the energy consumer and the energy provider. “We restructured our pricing model and implementation approach and we have been rewarded with a significant upswing in traction and market interest,” said Philip Playfair, Founder and CEO of Lowfoot.

Lowfoot also announced that Peterborough Utilities has extended its contract. “In May we launched the full Lowfoot engagement offering and we have been extremely impressed with the results. Six months since the product launched we are still seeing 50% to 55% open rates on our weekly emails. It is one of the most successful engagement programs we have ever deployed,” said Peterborough’s Director of Customer and Corporate Services, David Whitehouse.

The market for Lowfoot’s services is expanding as utilities and energy retailers begin to leverage the potential of meter, weather and consumer behavior data. Increasingly, energy providers see what Lowfoot is doing as a ‘must have’ element in both their back office and consumer facing offerings. “Energy Providers know that data analysis such as forecasting, demand management combined with customer engagement tools is critical for high levels of customer satisfaction and vital for making both short and long range planning decisions. Lowfoot provides all of these elements at an incredibly reasonable price,” states Playfair.
