SYDNEY & RESTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Covata Limited (ASX: CVT) today announced that three new senior level hires have been added to the global Covata team. Nichola (Nikki) Parker will oversee the growth and expansion of the Covata brand worldwide as Vice President of Growth and Investor Relations. Travis Weston will serve as Director of European Operations and will head the newly launched London office. Additionally, Amy Peraza has joined the company as Vice President of Strategy and Product Marketing. She will lead the development and execution of global product marketing strategy and help position Covata as the leader in data security.

Previously, Travis held P&L responsibilities for programs valued from £10k to over £10M over the course of the past 10 years. He has experience with national and international companies in Australia, Europe and the United Kingdom. He has worked at companies such as Vodafone, British Telecom, and Cisco among others.
Nichola (Nikki) Parker was previously the Asia Pacific Director at Freelancer.com, where she oversaw the company’s highly successful IPO and was pivotal in the company’s transformation from a startup to a marquee brand. At Covata, Nikki will be responsible for helping to drive the company forward, managing all external communications activities. She will relocate to Covata’s U.S. headquarters in Reston, VA early 2015.
Most recently, Amy Peraza was Cisco System’s Director of Product Marketing for both the Emerging Technologies and Securities Groups, where she helped define and drive market-differentiating messages for the company. She also helped guide Cisco through the acquisition and integration of SourceFire into the company’s product messaging. With a background in US and European start-ups, she also held senior marketing positions at several large tech companies including Dell, HP and 3Com. At 3Com, she lead global product and solutions marketing, successfully redefining 3Com’s position in the market and ultimately leading to its acquisition by HP. In her new role, she will be responsible for developing Covata’s global product messages to support sales opportunities worldwide.
