Infusion’s President Alim Somani Recognized as One of Canada’s Top Executives

Somani was selected by Waterstone Human Capital as one of Canada’s Most Admired CEOs for his successful track record building an innovative global technology company

TORONTO--()--Infusion today announced Alim Somani has been named one of Canada’s Most Admired CEOs by Waterstone Human Capital. Somani was honoured with the award for his ability to bring tremendous growth and success to Infusion, while maintaining the culture and types of opportunities awarded to him when he joined the company as an intern from the University of Waterloo in 2001. Receiving this leading business award underscores Somani and Infusion’s belief in fostering and preserving a culture that attracts and allows talent to thrive with different disciplines, interests, cultural backgrounds and personalities.

“This recognition is a great honour, and gives me a strong feeling of pride for what Infusion has accomplished,” said Somani, president of Infusion. “This award is a testament to the company as a whole, and to our passion for delivering powerful solutions by blending diverse disciplines, ideas and approaches.”

Under Somani’s leadership, Infusion has produced extraordinary results, including:

  • Yearly increase in revenue including a pace to exceed $100 million in revenue in 2014
  • Global growth from one office to ten with over 650 employees
  • A diverse client base including many Fortune 500 companies worldwide

“Alim is a leading example of what it means to be one of Canada’s most admired CEOs. He lives Infusion’s three immutables: grow your people, empower yourself and do right by the client,” said Marty Parker, CEO of Waterstone Human Capital. “We are thrilled to honour him with this award, as he and Infusion embody the best-in-class culture and sustained competitive advantage that this award recognizes.”

Founded by MacKay CEO Forums and Waterstone Human Capital, Canada’s Most Admired CEO award recognizes the country’s leading CEOs that have fostered a culture within their organization that enhances performance and sustains a competitive advantage. The CEOs are nominated from a pool of previous winners of Canada’s 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures organizations, with the winners celebrated at the Canada’s Most Admired Awards Gala on February 2, 2015 in Toronto.
