SYDNEY & RESTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Covata Limited (ASX: CVT) today announced the appointment of data protection pioneer and tech industry veteran, Mr. Phillip Dunkelberger, to its Board of Directors.
Mr. Dunkelberger is currently president and CEO of Nok Nok Labs, a leader in strong authentication solutions. He spent eight years as co-founder and CEO of PGP Corporation, the leader in the Enterprise Data Protection market, until it was acquired by Symantec in 2010. Following the acquisition, Mr. Dunkelberger served as senior vice president of Enterprise Security Strategy, where he facilitated the transitioning of PGP Corporation accounts and assets to Symantec.

Mr. Dunkelberger joins other industry veterans on the board such as Chuck Archer, who serves as the Executive Chairman of Covata. Mr. Archer was the former assistant director of the FBI and has more than 28 years of service in the U.S. Government and held senior executive positions at Litton PRC, Northrop Grumman and Identix.
In addition to his executive and board position with Nok Nok Labs, Mr. Dunkelberger also sits on the board of Ionic Security and is a founding board member of the Cyber Security Industry Alliance. He has previously served on various Boards including TechAmerica’s CxO Council and Crossbeam Systems. He has held senior management positions with Embark, Vantive Corporation, Symantec, Apple Computer and Xerox Corporation.
