NEW YORK--()--InfoComm International and the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) announced today that their events, InfoComm Connections and Content and Communications World (CCW+SATCON), will co-locate November 11-12, 2015 at the Javits Convention Center in New York City.

CCW+SATCON, running today and tomorrow, is the largest media, entertainment, video and communications technology conference and exposition on the East Coast. It is owned and produced by NAB, organizers of the annual NAB Show, the world's largest electronic media convention covering the creation, management and delivery of content across all platforms.

InfoComm Connections is a two-day trade show aimed at technology managers, in-house technical staff, institutional buyers and end-users. In addition to InfoComm University training, InfoComm Connections will feature partner group conference offerings in affordable, focused sessions. The first InfoComm Connections will be held in San Jose, California, March 4-5, 2015.

CCW+SATCON is expected to draw 7,000+ attendees and 300+ exhibitors, occupying more than 55,000 net square feet of exhibit space. InfoComm Connections is expected to host 2,000+ attendees, and 65+ exhibitors, occupying 10,000 net square feet of exhibit space. Together, the co-located events could eclipse 9,000 attendees, 375 exhibitors and 65,000 net square feet of exhibit space.

"Hosting our second installment of InfoComm Connections in New York City makes great sense, with so many major companies and institutions located nearby," said David Labuskes, CTS, RCDD, Executive Director and CEO, InfoComm International. "We look forward to working closely with NAB to capitalize on synergies with its CCW+SATCON show and harnessing the power of the convergence of AV, IT, information communications, broadcast, content creation, production and satellite technologies to create two powerhouse days of programming and exhibits," said Labuskes.

"Attendees and exhibitors alike have much to gain from the co-location of CCW+SATCON and InfoComm Connections in a single venue," said NAB Executive Vice President of Conventions and Business Operations Chris Brown. "Combining our audiences under one roof broadens the community, providing value and opportunity unsurpassed by any event in the region. New York is home to a vibrant media and entertainment community, and hosting these two events side-by-side in this dynamic city offers unparalleled possibilities for attendees to experience converged technologies and applications that are driving unprecedented change in the marketplace."
