Wingstop Appoints Industry Veteran Jay Young as General Counsel

DALLAS--()--Wingstop Restaurants, Inc. today announced that it has appointed Jay Young to the position of General Counsel. Young joins Wingstop during a year of record-setting growth and will serve on the Company’s executive leadership team reporting directly to President and Chief Executive Officer Charlie Morrison.

Young brings more than 18 years of legal expertise to Wingstop, including an extensive background in the restaurant and financial services industries. Before joining Wingstop, Young served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel for CEC Entertainment (Chuck E. Cheese), a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment. Prior to CEC Entertainment, Young was Vice President and Assistant General Counsel at Wachovia, a Wells Fargo Company, for seven years, and Assistant General Counsel at UBS. He received a Bachelor’s in economics from Southern Methodist University, as well as a dual J.D. and M.B.A. from the University of Oklahoma.

Young will be responsible for supporting the continued growth of the Wingstop brand both domestically and internationally.
