Ozone Media Demonstrates Continued Momentum, Hires First COO Raj Beri

On heels of recent milestones and accolades, new senior ad tech veteran will accelerate company’s long-term goals to better meet the growing demand for programmatic technology

SANTA CLARA, Calif. & NEW YORK--()--Ozone Media, a leading global advertising technology provider, today announced it has appointed Raj Beri as chief operating officer (COO). In his new role, Beri will oversee the company’s engineering, product development and day-to-day operations.

As part of the Ozone Media executive leadership team, Beri’s mission will be to scale the company’s operations to manage the huge growth it is seeing. His responsibilities include supervising engineering, product, customer service, account management and HR. Additionally, Beri will focus on speeding up time-to-market of new products by ensuring production operations run efficiently, and play an active role in strategic planning.

With over 12 years of experience in the ad tech and digital media industry, Beri is a veteran entrepreneur with an impressive track record of growing and building successful online media companies. Prior to joining Ozone, Beri served executive roles as co-founder of WanderWe (an online travel startup); general manager of the online travel group at Oversee.net; COO of IgoUgo (a Travelocity Business Unit); and director of Global Digital Strategy at the McGraw-Hill companies. His extensive experience in the travel space will help him bring new insights for product development for Adadyn. Beri currently serves on the Advisory Board of AdventureLink, one of the largest tours and activities platforms in the world. He has an MBA from the Wharton School of Business and an undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto.

Bringing Unique End-User Perspective to a Leading Ad Tech Provider

He also brings a unique customer perspective to the table. Most recently, Beri served as former vice president and general manager of online travel for Oversee.net (a technology company that owns and operates a portfolio of consumer websites designed to help users discover, compare and save). In his various leadership roles, Beri has overseen programmatic media buying and planning, managing spends worth over $10 million per year for dynamic campaigns.

This announcement comes on the heels of Ozone Media’s latest milestone regarding its100 million daily impressions on mobile, and industry recognition.

Earlier this year, Ozone announced its partnership with AppNexus to deliver an end-to-end programmatic media buying experience for midmarket advertisers and expand its footprint into the U.S. In working with AppNexus, Ozone designed Adadyn, a technology platform, to simplify the complicated technology stack that currently exists for delivering real-time creative and cross-channel media buys. As part of this global expansion and strong growth, Ozone created the COO position to further drive its aggressive business development goals across new market segments, like travel, where Beri’s experience and Adadyn’s applications will have the most value.
