Hunter Hotel Advisors Hires Senior Hospitality Veteran

Key hire will join hotel investment operations in D.C. Office

WASHINGTON & ATLANTA--()--Hunter Hotel Advisors announced today that hospitality veteran Mark Morris will join Hunter as senior vice president based out of their Washington, D.C. office.

With more than 25 years experience in the industry, Morris’ career has included a broad range of real estate investment, development and brokerage activities in hospitality. Having served senior roles in several prominent national firms, Morris has successfully structured and completed hotel sales transactions totaling more than $3 billion in recent years. With a focus on full and select service hotels, as well as unique independent hotels, Morris has closed hotel deals in most major U.S markets, and especially around the D.C. area. Mark will be joining Kyle Stevenson and John Testerman in Hunter’s D.C. office.

Prior to joining Hunter, Morris served as executive vice president at both Modus Hotels and MK hotels, and his clients included an impressive roster of public companies, private investors, institutional owners and banks. Notable transactions include the sale of the Mayflower Inn & Spa, the Fairview Park Marriott, and the Hotel George in Washington, D.C.

Morris holds a bachelor of science degree in finance from Syracuse University, and is credentialed as a Certified Hotel Broker (CHB) through the Hotel School of Cornell University. Among his career highlights, he was recognized as salesman of the year from Hotel Brokers International for five consecutive years.
