SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SunCentral today announced it will install 36 SunBeamers at the Westfield Santa Anita shopping center in Arcadia, California to distribute natural sunlight throughout the enclosed three-story mall.
The SunBeamer 500 brings full-spectrum sunlight to previously inaccessible interiors of buildings without requiring any significant altering of building design. Using optical components to automatically track and redirect natural sunlight hundreds of feet within buildings, the SunBeamer produces a stationary collimated beam of light that can be controlled to suit individual building needs. Users also have full-control remote access to the SunBeamer through a mobile app, allowing for easy calibration, monitoring and repositioning.

The SunBeamers block over 55 percent of solar heat energy from entering the building, providing sunlight where needed without significant solar heat gain.
