Deep Eddy Vodka Set to Unveil New Distillery with Tours, Tastings, and Private Event Space

Opened to the Public on Friday, October 10

AUSTIN, Texas--()--Deep Eddy Vodka, the Austin-based premium vodka company, is proud to announce the official opening of its new distillery in Dripping Springs, Texas on October 10, 2014. The distillery is designed to serve as a multi-purpose facility with manufacturing and production areas, as well as areas specially designed to accommodate guests. To create the space, designed to showcase an atmosphere that is both inviting and contemporary, Deep Eddy tapped Gary Payne with the Austin-based Environplan Architects Planners and Larry McGuire and Claire Zinneker from the critically acclaimed McGuire Moorman Hospitality restaurant group to consult on the interior design.

The new distillery will allow Deep Eddy to host the public for the first time for tours, vodka tastings, and private events. The distillery will be open to the public on weekends for tours and tastings: Friday and Saturday 11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., and Sunday 12:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. Reservations for tours and tastings for private groups are available throughout the week. Perfect for a wedding reception and/or other special events, the Deep Eddy Distillery will be available for private events seven days per week. The Deep Eddy Vodka distillery is located at 2250 E. U.S. Highway 290 in Dripping Springs, Texas, just twenty-five miles west of Austin.

Visitors and spirits connoisseurs will get an inside look at the sustainable production process and incorporation of local ingredients that Deep Eddy Vodka is known for. Guests will see a variety of elements that are unique to the brand’s process, including distilling the vodka ten times in a state-of-the-art twenty-foot column still, quadruple filtration, and the use of real, premium ingredients like Texas spring water. The facility will include a 5,000-square-foot public area, which features a sprawling tasting bar showcasing the full line of Deep Eddy Vodka varieties: Deep Eddy Ruby Red, Deep Eddy Straight, Deep Eddy Sweet Tea Vodka, and Deep Eddy Cranberry. Guests of the bar area can enjoy cocktails from the Deep Eddy Vodka cocktail menu ($7), drinks in Deep Eddy mason jar (to keep, $9), and a flight of four Deep Eddy Vodka flavors can be sampled ($10). Deep Eddy Vodka bottles and merchandise will also be available for purchase.

The new development is indicative of the company’s success and continued growth. “We are very pleased with the accelerated growth we have seen in the past 18 months, growing nearly 500% since 2012,” said Deep Eddy Vodka CEO Eric Dopkins. “We have just broken through 300,000 nine-liter cases in August year-to-date and will be heading toward 400,000 nine-liter cases by the end of 2014. Our new distillery will support our future demand as well as our one-on-one connection with our consumer.”
