Crimson Hexagon Strengthens Leadership Team; Demonstrates Significant Growth

Industry veterans join the management team to drive additional company momentum; expand customer base

BOSTON--()--Crimson Hexagon, the social media analytics software company, today announced that it has appointed three new members to its management team as the company continues to gain traction – experiencing 40 percent year-over-year revenue growth –and expand its customer base. Errol Apostolopoulos is now senior vice president of product; John Donnelly III is now senior vice president of marketing and sales; and Audra Ryan is now chief financial officer. Together, these new appointments signify a deepening of the executive team as more brands turn to Crimson Hexagon to uncover actionable consumer insights across social platforms, an increasing imperative for marketers across industries.

The three new executives bring a combined sixty years of experience in the software, technology and marketing industries. Apostolopoulos was previously the senior vice president of product at Moontoast, a social and mobile advertising company, and head of innovation at Optaros, where he helped launch new e-commerce concepts. Donnelly joins the company from Attend.com, a .406 Ventures portfolio company, where he was the chief revenue officer. Donnelly also served as the head of global sales for Cisco’s Cloud Software Automation and Managed Services organization. He has managed several companies from startup to more than $700 million in annual revenues. Ryan brings two decades of financial and operational experience, most recently as vice president of customer success and vice president of finance for Percussion Software, a Web content management provider.

As senior vice president of product at Crimson Hexagon, Apostolopoulos will lead product strategy, design, execution and innovation for the company’s platform. He will work closely with Donnelly, who is tasked with leading Crimson Hexagon’s go-to-market operations across marketing, sales and business development. Complementing their efforts, Ryan will focus on driving operational efficiency and financial growth as the company’s chief financial officer.
