(NASDAQ: GK), a leading provider of branded uniform and facility services programs, announced the launch of its annual GKdirect® Workforce for a Cure campaign to support Breast Cancer Awareness month. The campaign encourages G&K Services’ customers to trade-in their everyday work wear and purchase pink ribbon breast cancer awareness work apparel. A portion of the purchase price is donated in each company’s name to the American Cancer Society®, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer® campaign.
According to the American Cancer Society®, every two minutes, one case of breast cancer is diagnosed in a woman in the U.S. Through the campaign, GKdirect aims to help companies raise awareness of this disease by allowing their employees to wear breast cancer awareness apparel during the month of October.

This year GKdirect® is offering 13 breast cancer awareness products, including polo shirts and soft shell jackets. All awareness apparel is embroidered with the breast cancer awareness ribbon and includes room for companies to add their logo.
