MCLEAN, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--To support the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane, Indiana’s mission to equip warfighters with the most updated and effective weapon systems and sensors, Alion Science and Technology has been awarded a contract valued at up to $34 million. Alion will deliver professional engineering, configuration management, data management, project management and quality assurance services in support of NSWC Crane’s Platform and Launch Systems Division (GXP).
Under this five-year indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, Alion will provide a full spectrum of services to two branches within GXP: Polymer Engineering and Underwater Sensor Branch (GXPS) and Logistics Branch (GXPQ).
