UMeWorld Provides Shareholder Update

HONG KONG--()--The management team of UMeWorld Limited (OTCQB: UMEWF) is pleased to provide a shareholder update.

UMeWorld launched an adaptive learning product named UMFun to China Mobile’s educational platform in the Guangdong Province on August 11th, 2014 under a three month, free trial promotion, as previously announced. UMFun’s performance has exceeded China Mobile’s expectation in terms of conversion rate, user activeness and engagement. China Mobile plans to terminate the free trial period as soon as UMeWorld has completed the integration into China Mobile’s auto payment clearing system. China Mobile’s educational platform is available for students in Kindergarten to Grade Twelve and is the world’s largest subscription-based communication platform in China used mainly by teachers, parents and schools throughout many provinces.

Furthermore, due to the initial success with China Mobile, UMeWorld has accelerated the expansion program of its proprietary item bank to cover Grades 1-5 and Grades 10-12 respectively, meaning upon completion of this expansion in December 2014, UMFun will be able to accommodate China Mobile’s 40 million K-12 subscribers.

Michael Lee, President and CEO commented, “We are extremely pleased that UMFun is performing to our expectations. The "game-like" feel of the platform, which appeals to students, has been the key to this success. The introduction of the patent-pending adaptive learning technology, in conjunction with the launch of an expanded item bank in December, will set UMFun apart from competitors. UMFun will become the first and only adaptive learning educational product in China.”

The K-12 educational system in China is the largest in the world, comprising of approximately 230 million students. UMeWorld is on track to becoming a leading educational service provider in China. UMeWorld is also committed to becoming the largest provider and repository of e-portfolios for students in China.
