National Penn Bancshares, Inc. Announces Pricing of $125 Million Senior Debt Offering

ALLENTOWN, Pa.--()--National Penn Bancshares, Inc. (“National Penn”) (Nasdaq: NPBC), the holding company for National Penn Bank, announced that it has priced an underwritten public offering of $125 million of its unsecured fixed rate Senior Notes (“Notes”), due September 30, 2024. The Notes will bear a fixed interest at a rate of 4.25% per year, payable on March 30th and September 30th of each year, commencing on March 30, 2015. The Notes were priced at 100% of their face amount.

The offering is expected to close on September 16, 2014, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
