Call for Applications Now Open for AlphaTech’s 2015 Class of Mid-Atlantic's Emerging Cybersecurity, Big Data and Analytics Company CEOs

Exclusive, C-Level Group Provides Access to Domain Expertise, Strategic Partners and Alumni Network

WASHINGTON--()--AlphaTech Group, Inc., a selective, CEO-level initiative serving Mid-Atlantic emerging growth companies in the cybersecurity, big data and analytics industries, today announced the open application period for its 2015 cohort of entrepreneurs and executives has begun. Participation is reserved for founders and C-Level executives, who can apply at: www.alphatechgroup.org.

Each year, AlphaTech invites up to 20 CEOs from across the Mid-Atlantic region to apply for participation in an eight-month series of events. AlphaTech is chartered with supporting and accelerating the growth of participants’ companies through a variety of business-building opportunities, including industry-specific topic discussions with pioneers from the public and private sectors. Last year, monthly meetings focused on important corporate growth strategies, including marketing and branding, fundraising and maximizing contract partnering agreements. The series culminates in a unique capstone ceremony, which last year included a White House meeting with the Special Assistant to the President and Cybersecurity Coordinator and a rooftop reception at the Hay Adams in Washington, DC.

“CEOs of fast growth companies in dynamic industries are continually looking for resources and expertise outside of their investors and board. AlphaTech was created to provide the leaders of cybersecurity, big data and analytics companies with a unique source for any questions, advice or introductions they might need,” said Greg Giammittorio, a partner at Morrison & Foerster and one of AlphaTech’s founders. “With an active and growing alumni network that includes executives from Red Owl Analytics, Invincea and nPulse (recently acquired by FireEye), AlphaTech is unequaled in the resources and access we can provide to these CEOs. Our business leaders, advisors and board members are all embedded in this community and have the contacts and insights that can help our members succeed.”

This year’s kick-off event will be held in late October.

For CEOs who are considering applying, AlphaTech is looking for the following:

  • Primary business operations located within the Mid-Atlantic
  • Private companies
  • Annual revenue between $1M - $50M
  • CEO/founder representative
  • Operations within the cybersecurity, big data or analytics sectors

Unlike other programs that charge application and participation fees, AlphaTech does not charge CEOs to participate. AlphaTech is laser-focused on cybersecurity, big data and analytics companies from both the commercial and government contracting sectors and tailors its programming accordingly.

To learn more about AlphaTech and to apply, CEOs are encouraged to visit www.alphatechgroup.org and submit an application.
