Before assuming this new position at ViON, Boles spent more than 20 years working with a variety of industry leaders focused on business development in healthcare IT, healthcare information systems, laboratory medicine and radiology and surgical systems. With a clinical medical background and decades of IT experience, Boles has worked with a wide range of government healthcare organizations, such as the Department of Defense Military Health System, Health and Human Services, SSA, State Health Departments, Academic Medical Centers, County Hospitals, Correctional Healthcare and Veterans Hospitals. She is a recognized national expert on healthcare topics ranging from accountable care, cloud, big data, telemedicine, PCMH, healthcare reform and mHealth.
Most recently, Boles spent seven years with Cisco, where she was chief strategist for Cisco’s U.S. Public Sector Healthcare Innovation and Business Development. She led a team that worked with executives, clinicians, and business units in federal, state and local healthcare agencies to bring them technologies and new approaches that would improve patient safety, business outcomes and patient care that aligned with clinical and business processes. Prior to her role at Cisco, Boles served in executive positions at CliniComp, Webmedx, US Medical and Sanofi Diagnostics Pasteur.
