PHILADELPHIA--()--Curalate, the leading visual analytics and marketing platform, today launches Like2Buy, a new product that makes a brand’s Instagram feed immediately shoppable, converting Instagram engagement into revenue for online retailers. Prior to Like2Buy, brands could not easily attribute site traffic and purchases to Instagram and consumers wanting to purchase something from a brand’s Instagram feed either had to separately search for the product on a brand’s website, register in advance with a third party app developer or leave personal email addresses in a public comment on brand social pages. Like2Buy removes these barriers and optimizes the consumer experience for speed, security, and flexibility.

"Instagram turns creativity into commerce by changing the way consumers engage with products from their favorite brands," said Apu Gupta, CEO and co-founder of Curalate. "With Like2Buy, Curalate is providing retailers the most seamless and secure method of driving traffic and revenue from Instagram while providing digital marketers the ability to immediately demonstrate value from their efforts."

Like2Buy provides social teams the ability to link photos from a brand’s Instagram account to products available on the brand’s ecommerce site. Using the brand’s profile link on Instagram, a user is then able to pull up a gallery of shoppable Instagram photos and click through to purchase the products on the brand’s website. Additionally, consumers can also view a personalized feed of the product photos they’ve liked that are also available for purchase. Like2Buy requires no e-commerce integration and can start delivering clicks to a brand’s website in under five minutes.

Nordstrom is the first brand to adopt Like2Buy, and is debuting the new feature to their customers this week.

“We continue to hear from customers that they want speed and convenience incorporated into all the places they shop – including our social platforms,” said Bryan Galipeau, Social Media Director at Nordstrom. “We connect with more than 500,000 customers on Instagram by posting items we hope they find inspirational, beautiful and fun. Like2Buy enhances the experience even more for customers who want to take the next step and learn more about the great fashion we’re featuring or even make a purchase.”

Like2Buy is immediately available to the more than 450 brands currently working with Curalate and will be rolled out widely over the coming weeks. Non-clients are now able to pre-register for the wider rollout. Like2Buy also integrates with Curalate’s existing platform that provides a wide variety of analytics and workflow tools for brands seeking to maximize their engagement on image-based social sites like Pinterest, Instagram, Tumblr and Facebook.
