SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Method Communications today announced the appointment of Heather England, former executive vice president of operations at The OutCast Agency, to the newly created position of senior vice president of operations. At Method, England will oversee operations across the rapidly expanding public relations agency’s Salt Lake City, San Francisco and Los Angeles offices.
In her role, England will guide the agency’s operations, strategically develop new integrated services to drive agency growth and head up hiring, training and mentoring. England will work out of and oversee the day-to-day management of Method’s burgeoning San Francisco office.

With more than 15 years of leadership experience in operations, England is an accomplished executive with a proven track record of developing highly efficient business processes, assembling high-performing teams and building dynamic brands and cultures. As executive vice president, head of human resources and operations, she led OutCast’s human resources and administrative teams across its San Francisco and New York offices.

England’s addition is the latest milestone in Method’s banner 2014 year. In February, the agency expanded into San Francisco and has since signed a number of innovative technology companies, including Databricks, DigitalOcean and ZenPayroll. It also orchestrated the launch of Silicon Valley camera innovator Lytro’s LYTRO ILLUM, which generated more than 3 billion impressions from more than 1,000 original stories in the first week. In mid-July, Method acquired boutique PR agency Kindling Communications and opened an LA office, where Kindling founder Carolyn Guss serves as general manager. Method is approaching 50 total employees.
