BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MITX, the Massachusetts Innovation & Technology Exchange, announced today that Adam Medros, SVP, Global Product at TripAdvisor was named the organization’s new Chairman of the Board of Directors, effective July 1, and will officially assume his new role at the July 22nd board meeting. For the past two years, Adam has served as Vice-Chair of MITX alongside outgoing Chairman Joe Grimaldi.
Currently, Adam heads worldwide product development for TripAdvisor. Prior to joining the company in 2004, he held senior analyst and product manager positions at Nordstrom.com, Amazon.com, and The Parthenon Group.

MITX also announced the addition of three new members to its Board of Directors. The new members hail from a wide range of industries, all of which represent the marketing and technology core of MITX. The board provides guidance throughout the year to help continue to grow and improve the organization for their members. The new board members include:

- Brad Rinklin, CMO, Akamai
