LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Global penetration of V2X modules in new vehicles will reach 62% by 2027. The total installed base of OEM and aftermarket DSRC V2X modules in vehicles will grow to 423 million by 2027.

But it is not just about providing in-vehicle technology (On board Units or OBUs). The full potential of cooperative systems will only be realized through the deployment of Road Side Units (RSUs) attached to traffic lights, light poles, digital signage, tolling gates, and buildings allowing Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2I) communication and services.
