E2open Achieves Drummond Certification in Spring 2014 Interoperability Test Event

Certification Demonstrates E2open’s Continued Commitment to Global Supply Chain Interoperability Standards Across Industries

FOSTER CITY, Calif.--()--E2open (NASDAQ:EOPN), the leading provider of cloud-based solutions for collaborative planning and execution across global trading networks, today announced that the latest release of E2 Cloud Connectivity has been Drummond Certified™ in the AS2‐1Q14 automated interoperability test event. Drummond Group Inc., the trusted leader in interoperability software testing, named E2open’s solution as one of 14 newly certified products. E2open participated in this vendor‐neutral test event held across multiple time zones during the first quarter of 2014.

“Certified software applications draw attention to the importance of interoperability needed to support the world’s supply chain in a variety of industries,” said Rik Drummond, CEO of Drummond Group. “We commend these organizations for their united efforts to meet mutual goals of driving global interoperability with the continuous adoption of technical standards such as AS2.”

Applicability Statement 2 (AS2) is one of the most widely recognized messaging standards for business-to-business (B2B) e‐commerce with thousands of implementations worldwide. It enables users to connect, deliver and reply to all forms of data (including EDI and XML) securely and reliably, thus delivering cost savings and providing flexibility and control on how the data is utilized. AS2 is broadly adopted among the world’s major retailers and manufacturers, and is one of numerous standards built into the foundation of the E2open Business Network. By removing the obstacles to collaboration, and allowing for the exchange of data in a simple, secure and reliable manner, the E2open Business Network enables comprehensive visibility and the rapid onboarding of global trading partners.

“Today’s leading, global organizations depend on proven B2B integration solutions to ensure real-time collaboration across their supply chain networks and to better connect with their trading partners within a global business network,” said Ian Hedges, Vice President, Platform, E2open. “We’re committed to maintaining greater interoperability and are honored to have earned the Drummond Certified™ seal, demonstrating our promise to our customers to put the flexibility and control of managing supply chain data back in their hands.”

As a trusted, experienced and accredited interoperability test lab, Drummond Group offers global test services through the product life cycle, including auditing, quality assurance, conformance and test consulting. Drummond Group's testing automation tool, InSitu®, allows the tester to automate the execution and evaluation of the test cases used for interoperability testing, including the sending and receiving of AS2 messaging. This provides testers with more time to focus on solving any interoperability issues.
