ICR Adds David Galper to Senior Team

NEW YORK--()--ICR, a leading strategic communications firm, today announced the addition of David Galper to lead the firm’s financial sponsor coverage effort and expand its network of relationships with private equity firms, investment banks, law firms and other professional service providers.

Mr. Galper joins ICR as a Managing Director, bringing more than 15 years of investment banking and corporate finance experience. During his career, he has partnered with financial sponsors to structure and execute numerous M&A transactions, equity offerings and debt financings.

"In the last twelve months, ICR has represented approximately 20 percent of all US IPOs and we've provided strategic communications services on almost 100 merger and acquisition transactions,” said Don Duffy, President, ICR. “We understand financial sponsors' exit strategies and believe David's addition will enhance our ability to deliver the full breadth of ICR’s services to private equity firms and their portfolio companies."

Mr. Galper comes to ICR from KeyBanc Capital Markets, where he served as a Managing Director and head of one of the institution’s industry-focused investment banking practices. Prior to joining KeyBanc, Mr. Galper led Consumer Products investment banking at Jefferies & Company, Inc. and was a member of the Equity Capital Markets Group at Lehman Brothers. He began his investment banking career at Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown.
