TAIPEI, Taiwan--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Newegg and Colorful Group today held a joint press conference to announce their partnership to expand global distribution of Colorful Group’s portfolio of PC hardware components. Initial distribution will target North America and will steadily expand to help Colorful Group achieve a foothold in key global regions.
Newegg’s Chief Marketing Officer Soren Mills shared his enthusiasm for the partnership as he welcomed Computex attendees to today’s press conference. “We are honored to join forces with Colorful Group to bring its high-quality products to new customers. Colorful Group is a market leader in Asian markets and we look forward to expanding that presence to the US and beyond.”
Established in 1995, Colorful Group is a leading provider of PC hardware, including VGA, MB, tablets, power supplies and chassis components. The company holds a 27% share of the VGA market in China, and has been the market leader in that category for 11 straight years. Colorful Group intends to replicate the success it’s had in China in other parts of the world and Newegg will help the company achieve this goal.
“Our partnership with Newegg is a natural one – not only does it have the best consumer base in the markets we plan to explore, but Newegg’s strong cultural connection to Asia makes execution more efficient and ensures a successful collaboration,” said Samuel Wan, Chairman of Colorful Group. “Newegg gives Colorful Group an immediate, formidable presence in the US and its global expansion plans will enable us to reach additional markets in the months ahead.”
