Cheryl has over 20 years of successful international experience leading and expanding technology-based businesses and operations in global markets, including Asia, Europe, South America and Mexico. She has held senior executive positions in billion dollar divisions of multinational corporations as well as in startups and early stage companies.

Cheryl’s career spans a variety of technologies in the power and energy industries, including lighting/LED, sapphire, fuel cells and industrial batteries. She also has experience in the UPS, pulp and paper, and telecom industries. Cheryl previously held executive leadership roles at Invensys Power Systems, Xerium Technology, Enersys, and GT Advanced Technologies, and led early-stage companies Vairex and Lumetric Lighting as CEO.
Cheryl holds a master’s degree in Organic Chemistry from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Duke University.
