Würth Expands Global Online Customer Engagement with SDL

Leading supplier of assembly and fastening material selects SDL translation services and technology for a high-quality customer experience in 60 languages and 80 countries

KG, a world leading supplier of fasteners, manual assembly tools, electrical supplies and automotive chemicals has selected SDL Language Solutions to support the expansion of their ecommerce business into new geographies. SDL will deliver translated website content for Würth’s online shop in 60 languages, ensuring Würth’s three million ecommerce customers are receiving consistent, high quality, localized content to significantly improve customer experience online.

Established 70 years ago in Germany, Würth has grown into a worldwide business comprising 400 companies which operate in over 80 countries. To help meet the demands of such a geographically dispersed and large customer base, SDL is providing and automating delivery of local language content to help deliver an exceptional experience to all of Würth’s customers, no matter what language they speak.
