HASTINGS, Neb.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Power management company Eaton has appointed Doug Ourada plant manager of its Hastings, Nebraska, automotive facility, effective May 5. The Hastings facility machines gears and casings used in differentials produced by other Eaton plants for global automotive customers, and supplies gears for agricultural applications.
In his new position, Ourada will report to Kathy Grisdela, director of operations, Automotive North America. He will be responsible for developing and driving the long-term strategy and direction of the Hastings plant. This includes initiating growth opportunities as well as enhancing safety, employee engagement, quality, productivity and customer satisfaction.

Ourada has held positions of increasing responsibility since joining Eaton as a manufacturing engineering intern in 1999. He most recently was sales manager for the company’s Automotive North America operations in Southfield, Michigan. Ourada also held quality positions at Eaton’s Westminster, South Carolina, and Kearney, Nebraska, plants.
Ourada holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Nebraska and an executive master’s degree in business administration from the University of Georgia.
