Qualtré Appoints Dr. Sreeni Rao as Vice President of Vertical Markets

MARLBOROUGH, Mass.--()--Qualtré, Inc, a leader in the development and commercialization of bulk acoustic wave MEMS inertial sensors, announced the appointment of Dr. Sreeni Rao to the position of Vice President of Vertical Markets. Sreeni brings more than 20 years of semiconductor industry experience in the areas of design engineering and business management. He will be responsible for product management, world-wide systems engineering activities and the development and execution of marketing program strategies for Qualtré’s target sensor applications in the consumer, industrial and automotive markets.

Prior to joining Qualtré, Dr. Rao headed the Integrated Linear Products Group at Analog Devices Inc. (ADI) with marketing, engineering, and general management responsibilities. Previously, Sreeni served in key engineering leadership positions at ADI, IBM, and Texas Instruments. He has been a program committee member, panelist and panel organizer at many international technical conferences including the Custom Integrated Circuits Conference (CICC) and Design Automation Conference (DAC). Sreeni was also an Advisory Board Member at Sigmatix Inc. He has published more than 25 articles in peer-reviewed international journals covering algorithms, IC design, and management topics. Dr. Rao received a PhD in Electrical Engineering from University of California, Irvine, and an MBA from Northeastern University, Boston.
