MGM Joins Comcast Digital Store

New Releases, Academy Award® Winners and Fan Favorites Available for Purchase by Xfinity TV Customers Will Include Bull Durham, Carrie (2013), Capote, Fargo, Skyfall, Hoosiers, The Princess Bride, the Rocky franchise, RoboCop (2014), Thelma & Louise, The Usual Suspects and When Harry Met Sally

LOS ANGELES & PHILADELPHIA--()--Comcast and MGM Television (MGM) today announced that Comcast will begin to make MGM content available through the Xfinity On Demand digital store. Xfinity TV customers can own and access movies anytime, anywhere, on any device, often before the DVD release.

The list of stellar MGM fan favorites to be added to the Xfinity On Demand store will include: Bull Durham, Capote, Carrie (2013), Fargo, The Graduate, Hoosiers, Hot Tub Time Machine, Legally Blonde, The Princess Bride, the Rocky franchise, Skyfall, The Silence Of The Lambs, The Usual Suspects, Thelma & Louise, West Side Story and When Harry Met Sally as well as the hit television series Vikings. MGM’s content will debut on Comcast with the 2014 film RoboCop on Digital HD on May 20, 2014.

Xfinity TV customers have the ability to purchase movies and television shows - often weeks before they are available to rent or purchase on Blu-ray and DVD - and store them seamlessly in the cloud. Their content can be enjoyed anywhere, anytime, on their TV, PC or mobile devices. Purchased titles are added to customers’ On Demand menus, which are easily accessible on the TV, online or via the Xfinity On Demand Purchases app.

The Xfinity On Demand catalog now includes content from Twentieth Century Fox, Lionsgate, MGM, NBCUniversal, Sony Pictures and Warner Bros.
