RESTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ascom Network Testing (www.ascom.com/nt) announced today that it has received two orders totaling over USD 1.8 million in EMEA. The orders include purchase of new TEMS™ products and expansions.
The first purchase order was from a major Western European operator who acquired several TEMS™ Pocket Remote units to benchmark their services against their competitors. TEMS Pocket Remote - a unique, smartphone-based measurement system – can be fully integrated into TEMS™ Automatic, using the same interface mechanisms for uploading and downloading data and presentation of measurement results. The data collected by TEMS Automatic using TEMS Pocket Remote units can be used for analyzing trends, optimizing networks, benchmarking competitors, and verifying quality as experienced by the users.
The second order was from another major Western European operator who purchased new TEMS™ Discovery Network systems and also upgraded existing units. The systems will be used for optimization and troubleshooting of their 2G, 3G, and 4G networks. TEMS Discovery Network is a desktop-based solution for detailed drilldown and analysis of subscriber call trace data.
